El Sequial Scuba Adventure

Join us for a dive outside of Banderas Bay and in waters that are home to larger marine life. Are you ready for watching tuna, sailfish, or possibly even a shark? El Sequial is located north of La Corbeteña and an exciting and fascinating diving site that is shaped like a table top and has been likened to a sunken football field with a length of approximately 300 meters and a depth of 60-80ft.
El Sequial is also known for the incredible drop-offs around the edges of the tabletop. Its unique shape and location is reflected in the name El Sequial, which translates into "dry area." While El Sequial itself is comparably shallow, the water around the tabletop is up to 1.5 miles deep. This site has an average water temperature of 62-82°F and an average visibility of 40 - 120ft.
